Description: Supporting “the new line of oversized gummy candies from basketball icon Shaquille O’Neal,” American Packaging Corporation (APC) was excited to collaborate with Hershey on “Shaq-A-Licious XL Gummies, featuring two varieties: Shaq-A-Licious Original, with gummies molded after O’Neal’s face; and Shaq-A-Licious Sour, offered in three playful shapes and flavors that celebrate his storied career.” From the earliest design, the entire team quickly realized that reproducing these Shaq-A-Licious XL Gummies would be a challenge. Focusing on the vibrancy and playfulness of this new product, APC HPE Flexo™ was able to achieve both designs for the “tall” expectations of Shaq and Hershey.
