To produce this pouch, PPC Flex used the latest Miraclon NX water plates to create this beautiful print, printed and laminated on recyclable film provided by Charter Next Generation. The package includes a Reynolds Presto Products recyclable zipper with a laser score for an easier tear.

Description: This “designed for recycling” package is constructed using an oriented polyethylene (PE) print web and barrier replacing the current multi-material laminate. The oriented PE helped offset the loss in stiffness and thermal stability while the barrier sealant achieved the shelf life and low temperature sealability needed for the conversion process. American Packaging used its unique rotogravure press technology designed to accommodate extensible films along with a patterned matte varnish to create contrast and the desired shelf impact.
