Peel&Seal offered better overall economics with advancements to the tape materials and in-line applicators. Consumers have been elated with the new resealable feature on the Eggo package.
Description: Kimberly Clark’s Kleenex® Liquid Soap incumbent stand-up pouch was made of a structure consisting of polyester, nylon, and polyethylene (PE), which made the package very difficult to recycle. The new version is designed solely with PE, making it easily recyclable. In addition, the new solution removed the traditional screw-cap spout and replaced it with a die cut dispensing channel, reducing the amount of plastic weight used by as much as 30%.

TC used materials to meet filling performance requirements and cost targets.
