Resource Label Group, LLC, a Tennessee-based provider of pressure-sensitive label, shrink sleeve, and RFID/NFC technology for the packaging industry, recently reported that it has bought Chicago-based Deco Flexible Packaging.
Terms of the deal, which expands the presence of Resource Label in the Midwest, were not disclosed.
Deco specializes in the production of custom, pressure-sensitive products, narrow web flexible packaging, promotional items, and tags for a variety of industries.
Based in Franklin, Tennessee, Resource Label has 1,700 workers in 21 facilities in the U.S. and Canada. It is a portfolio company of Ares Management Corporation.
With the purchase of Deco, Resource Label has made 24 acquisitions, according to a company news release. Its products are used in the food, beverage, chemical, household products, personal care, nutraceutical, pharmaceutical, medical device, and technology industries.
