Pregis recently started production of its cushioned mailer at its new 298,000-square-foot manufacturing facility in Reno, Nevada.
The facility will be making Pregis EverTec™, a durable, lightweight, curbside-recyclable paper-cushioned mailer.
Since acquiring the technology to manufacture the mailer in 2020, Pregis has scaled the production and full-color digital printing of the product to meet consumer demand. And it continues to add sites to serve strategic geographic markets in this rapidly growing e-commerce packaging market, the company says in a news release. Other facilities that produce the mailer include plants in Arlington, Texas; Bethel, Pennsylvania; McDonough, Georgia; and Elk Grove Village, Illinois.
