PPC Flexible Packaging Buys Consumer Packaging Group



PPC Flexible Packing LLC has bought Consumer Packaging Group, a deal that is the eighth that PPC has made in less than five years.

PPC, headquartered in Buffalo Grove, IL, is a flexographic printer and converter of flexible films, bags, and pouches. It specializes in cleanroom packaging for health care and medical applications, snack and organic brands, specialty produce, pet, nutraceuticals, bakery, and horticulture markets.

Founded in 1968, it operates 10 manufacturing facilities: Buffalo Grove, IL; Mission, KS; Rome, GA; Payson, UT; Pewaukee WI; McKinney, TX; Alliance, OH; North Salt Lake, UT; Hartland, WI; and Colombia, South America.

Founded in 2006 by Cameron Knuth and based in Hartland, WI, Consumer Packaging Group provides finished prototype solutions in consumer packaging goods markets. Its services include pre-press, digital printing and lamination, handwork, and assembly through fulfillment and shipping worldwide. Products include finished bags and pouches, labels, shrink sleeves, and rigid structures. Customers include mid- to large-scale CPGs worldwide.
