PACK EXPO International Plans New Exhibits at November Show

PACK EXPO International, scheduled for November 3–6, 2024, at McCormick Place in Chicago, will offer several new features, including “Sustainability Central” that will take an expansive look into packaging sustainability and what it means to brands, according to the show’s producer.

Speakers at the new forum will discuss “actionable sustainable solutions in manufacturing, materials, recovery, logistics, analytics, and design,” says PMMI, The Association for Packaging and Processing Technologies.

Other features and highlights at the show are below:

  • Emerging Brands Central will include companies seeking to expand their reach and scale operations. “An evolution of the Emerging Brands Summit, this educational stage offers easy access to industry experts sharing insights on topics such as product development, packaging innovation, and scaling strategies,” PMMI says.
  • The Logistics Pavilion isn’t new but will be four times larger than 2022 and will focus on the boom in e-commerce and target the supply chain, including distribution, warehousing, transportation, material handling, docking, and inventory management.

PMMI anticipates more than 2,500 exhibitors and more than 45,000 attendees from companies worldwide.

“Every aspect showcased at our event is grounded in thorough research and listening to our members, ensuring we remain attuned to the evolving needs of our industry both now and in the future,” said Jim Pittas, president and CEO of PMMI, in a news release.

Other highlights will include The Processing Zone, The Containers and Materials Pavilion, the PACKage Printing Pavilion, Healthcare Packaging Pavilion, Reusable Packaging Pavilion, Confectionery Pavilion, Association Partner Pavilion, and Workforce Pavilion. The Packaging & Processing Women’s Leadership Network breakfast will address issues facing women in the industry.
