The Griff Network recently announced it has bought Atlas Metallizing of New Britain, Connecticut.
The purchase expands Griff’s reach into packaging, graphic, and technical markets, the company says in a news release. Pennsylvania-based Griff is a manufacturer, extruder, coater, laminator, and metallizer.
With the Atlas acquisition, Griff will have an entire facility dedicated to specialized metallizing services. This expansion will add capacity and complement Griff’s other divisions that serve the packaging, insulation, building and construction, electronic, graphic arts, and photovoltaic industries, the company says.
Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Atlas Metallizing was founded in 1990.
