FPA Launches Campaign Promoting Flexible Packaging Benefits

The Emerging Leadership Council (ELC) for the Flexible Packaging Association (FPA) has launched a new video campaign to highlight flexible packaging’s benefits on the environment.

The campaign, which coincides with Earth Day/Month in April, is the start of a yearlong effort to promote those benefits. Videos will be used along with social media posts, media outreach, and postings by social media influencers, according to a news release from FPA.

The first video—part of FPA’s Perfect Packaging promotions—compares flexible packaging to alternatives such as a paperboard barrier carton, which uses more water and fuel in its production and produces more greenhouse gas emissions, according to the video on YouTube.

The overall promotional campaign is called “Pro Planet: We Believe Every Day is Earth Day,” according to Danielle Reigle, senior account executive at The Cyphers Agency, which handles FPA’s social media.
