Brook + Whittle Buys Georgia-Based Flexible Packaging Company

Brook + Whittle recently announced that it has bought PouchIt, a flexible packaging manufacturer based in Atlanta.

PouchIt specializes in short-run stand-up pouches, lay-flat pouches, and rollstock film.

Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Brook + Whittle, which makes flexible packaging and other products, says in a statement that the deal expands its footprint in the Southeast.

“PouchIt’s printing and converting capabilities will provide a great springboard to grow our flexible packaging business,” said Mark Pollard, CEO at Brook + Whittle, in the statement. “This will allow us to provide faster service to our existing customers and expand into new markets.”

Adam Wasserman, founder and owner of PouchIt, says the benefits of scale in cross-channel selling and manufacturing led to the decision.

“Further, being able to join forces with some of the best minds and experience in e-commerce and flexographic printing will be a significant benefit,” Wasserman added in the statement.

Brook + Whittle is headquartered in Guilford, Connecticut, and operates 18 locations nationwide.
