Lubrizol Corp. surpassed its goal of contributing 2,020 virtual volunteering hours to organizations in the communities it calls home. The Ohio-based company announced the goal at the early onset of COVID-19.
On a single day, employees in the U.S., England, Germany, Singapore, Spain, South Africa, and UAE contributed over 700 volunteer hours. These efforts included sewing face masks and participating in the Red Cross’s Missing Maps project, which empowers volunteers to map areas where humanitarian organizations are working.
