Production employees at Liquibox’s Bangkok facility in Thailand wanted to go above and beyond and deliver something more than packaging for vital supplies during the early stages of the pandemic. They came up with the idea of making face shields for protecting medical personnel by using raw materials purchased from local businesses. During lunch and after work, and with the help of family members, they fashioned 1,000 face shields over two weeks. They identified remote hospitals in need and delivered the shields throughout the Kalasin, Surin, Nakhon Si Thammarat, and Udon Thani provinces.
Namon Hospital in the Kalasin province posted a message on its website and Facebook page thanking Liquibox for the donation and wishing “all good things, happiness, and success to Liquibox forever.”
