Koenig & Bauer Supports Allied Printing Services Fundraiser
Koenig & Bauer was a 2024 Diamond Sponsor of the Allied Printing Services Charitable Foundation’s 16th annual golf tournament in June at the Tunxis Country Club in Farmington, Connecticut.
The tournament was established in 2008, and all proceeds are donated to the Connecticut Children’s Medical Center, Cushing Academy, Fidelco Guide Dog Foundation, and the Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in New York City.
Allied Printing Services, headquartered in Manchester, Connecticut, recently installed its sixth press from Koenig & Bauer in 12 years.
“We’re very proud to partner with Allied Printing Services as it supports the local community through this successful fundraiser,” said Kilian Renschler, president and CEO of Koenig & Bauer (U.S./Canada), in a statement. “Not only are they seeing double-digit growth, but they are spreading their success through their charitable foundation.”
SCREEN Americas Employees Help Single Mothers Through Donations
Employees of SCREEN GP Americas LLC helped single mothers by donating items to the Fellowship Housing of Hoffman Estates, Illinois, a not-for-profit organization that provides transitional housing for single mothers and their children. Each season brings new needs such as back-to-school supplies and winter coats. The donations are part of SCREEN’s initiative to contribute to society.
NOVA Chemicals Supports Mental Health Initiatives
NOVA Chemicals, Inc. recognized mental health on Giving Tuesday. Prioritizing mental health initiatives and strategy was a core focus for the company in 2023.
“We donated nearly $500,000 to provide essential funding to agencies offering mental health support for youth and adults in the regions where we operate,” the company stated. “This initiative reflects our commitment to fostering resilient communities and ensuring that crucial programs remain strong and sustainable, offering vital care and hope to those in need.”
Flexcon Global Hires New Supply Chain Leader
Flexcon Global recently hired Ruben Harris as vice president of supply chain.
“Harris will drive our end-to-end global supply chain strategy for Flexcon globally,” said Nick Lupoli, chief operations officer, in a news release. “His vast experience and proven track record across multiple industries will help build a resilient, agile, and customer-focused supply chain to support our future growth and success.”
Harris brings over 25 years of experience in strategy development, supply chain management, sourcing, manufacturing, quality, industrial management, and planning.
CNG Donates to Various Causes
Charter Next Generation’s (CNG) Community Giving Fund outreach in 2023 donated nearly $400,000 to various nonprofits and entities in need across the communities where its employee-owners live and work.
