ELC to Hold Crash Course for People New to the Industry

The Emerging Leadership Council (ELC) of the Flexible Packaging Association (FPA) is excited to offer FPA member companies the opportunity to participate in the FlexPack Crash Course at PACK EXPO International on Wednesday, November 6, 2024, at McCormick Place in Chicago.

The course first launched at the expo in 2022 and is back for a second session.

This event is designed for new hires and newcomers to the flexible packaging industry with fewer than five years of industry experience. It will be a day of learning and networking, starting with classroom sessions from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m., followed by a networking event from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m.

The presentations will provide a high-level overview of the flexible packaging industry. The sessions will cover market trends, sustainability, the legislative and regulatory environment, and an overview of technical fundamentals, including flexible packaging materials, substrates, and converting technologies.

A range of industry experts will give presentations at various stages of the value chain, providing a great opportunity for dialogue and collaboration.

The training has filled up in the past, and spots are limited. For more information and to register, visit www.flexpack.org/events/flexpack-crash-course-2024

Please note that the maximum event capacity is 50 attendees, and registration is limited to people who work at FPA member companies. If your company is not a member of FPA, you may add yourself to the waitlist.

FPA will sponsor all costs for attending the course and evening networking event, but attendees must cover travel and accommodations.
