May 31, 2024, is the deadline for companies that want to participate in the Flexible Packaging Association’s (FPA’s) summer internship program, where participating companies nationwide can help their interns acclimate to the industry.
The program, run by FPA’s Emerging Leadership Council, is available only to FPA member companies and includes a speaker series and small group sessions that orient college interns to the flexible packaging industry through weekly virtual meetings.
The interns—students who work summer jobs or who are part-time hires but are not full-time workers—network with industry professionals and other interns through the programs that start June 7, 2024, and run until early August 2024, according to FPA.
The time commitment is roughly up to 90 minutes per week, typically on Fridays. There is no cost, and each member company can have up to five interns. The program is limited to 75 interns.
