Montalvo Taps Hall as CEO

The Montalvo Corporation, a producer of web tension control products and services, recently named Russ Hall as CEO after Hall had been serving in the position on an interim basis.

“Russ has taken on increased leadership responsibilities since joining Montalvo in 2019,” said Robin Goodwin, executive chairman of the board of Montalvo, which is based in Gorham, Maine, in a news release. “He is an excellent choice to be Montalvo’s next CEO, continuing our long-standing tradition of best-in-class service and support to all of our customers and partners.”

Hall has the full support of the Montalvo family, added Managing Director Edwin Montalvo. “Prior to his taking on the responsibilities of the job on an interim basis, Russ did a stellar job serving as director of North American sales and other positions,” he said in a news release.

Hall will continue the work of expanding the company’s market share, improving Montalvo’s product line, and strengthening the firm’s international presence, the company says.

“We are expanding our reach into new industries, and we are developing new products and solutions that raise expectations in our industry, while at the same time branching out to offer customers complete solutions for their web handling needs through in-house capabilities and an impressive group of business partners,” Hall said in a news release.

Hall moves into this new role with more than 35 years of business and leadership experience, ranging from technical sales and support, customer service, sales management, and executive leadership roles.
