The Flexible Packaging Association (FPA) is embarking on a new membership campaign, and we need your help. If you are a current member, we will give you the tools to help recruit your vendors and customers, and you can get a membership discount for doing so. If you are not a member, know that we will most likely be reaching out to you very soon. If you are interested in membership, you don’t have to wait—let us know now! FPA offers unparalleled support to the flexible packaging industry—one of the fastest-growing segments in packaging—and you could be an essential part of that movement.
FPA’s membership benefits include critical advocacy, essential networking, and industry insights.
FPA’s mission to advance the industry is backed by strategic, proactive advocacy through representation to various government and regulatory agencies. To further support our mission, we employ coordinated engagement and effective market outreach programs that amplify our members’ voices. FPA’s Annual Meeting, Fall Executive Conference, and other events throughout each year focus deeply on educational and networking opportunities. We continually bolster our industry’s collective knowledge and strive for a truly collaborative approach toward further innovation and solutions. And, through our continued research and groundbreaking studies, we are spearheading industry efforts to better understand packaging sustainability, circularity policy drivers and programs, future growth, and key benchmarking metrics.
Through our strategic plan, FPA is reviewing all membership categories with an eye toward adding more members of the supply chain. Traditionally, FPA’s core focus has been our converter members, as well as manufacturers of supplies to the converters, called associates. Generally, associates are our major material suppliers, as well as equipment and software manufacturers. While these will continue to be our primary membership categories, to further advance the interests of the industry in the U.S., FPA is exploring new supporting and affiliate categories. These new memberships will help FPA better advocate at statehouses and on Capitol Hill to protect our growing segment of packaging, while also supplying solutions to the circularity concepts that our current members and their customers have committed to. In addition, by broadening our footprint, FPA will be better able to provide the industry insights and market data that members rely on to run and strengthen their businesses.
Whether you are a current member or a future member—Let’s unite for flexibles! Reap the benefits of a unified front and have your voice be heard.
