Fortis Solutions Group, LLC, reported recently that it has bought Quality Tape and Label of Georgia.
Quality Tape and Label specializes in providing digital shrink sleeves, flexible packaging, and pressure-sensitive labels to the craft beer, nutraceutical, food and health, and beauty end markets. It was founded in 1979 by Cecil and Myrl Daniels and has been run by Rick and Rob Daniels.
Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
“After 40 years of being a close-knit family operation, it’s hard to let go,” says Rick Daniels, CEO. “But moving the reins to Fortis was a decision I’m very comfortable with.”
Rob Daniels will remain in a leadership role with the company based in Marietta, Georgia.
Fortis is a portfolio company of Main Post Partners, a private equity investment company.
It has over 950 workers across 15 sites. Fortis says it intends to continue its pursuit of acquisitions to “further the breadth of product offerings and locations” that can serve its customer base. Its services include flexographic, letterpress, offset, and digital printing capabilities.
