Siegwerk has established a group executive committee and has added an executive from its offices in Asia, a move the company says should help bolster its ability to respond to its expanding international business operations.
Ashish Pradhan, president of the company’s Asia operations, is now part of the newly created group executive committee that formally started operating on January 1.
“The inclusion of Pradhan in the group executive committee underlines, once again, the significance of the Asian region in Siegwerk’s global strategy,” according to the company. “With its immense growth potential, Asia plays an active role in shaping the company’s future together with the other two major regions, EMEA (Europe, the Middle East, and Africa) and the Americas.”
Pradhan joined Siegwerk, a global provider of printing inks and coatings for packaging applications and labels, in 2015. The group executive committee also includes members of the company’s Board of Management: CEO Nicolas Wiedmann; Chief Financial Officer (CFO) Oliver Wittmann; Jan Breitkopf, EMEA president; and Ralf Hildenbrand, Americas president.
However, Wittmann will leave the board and his position as CFO on April 30 and remain an adviser through 2025. Dirk Weissenfeldt, vice president of flexible packaging in EMEA, will take over the CFO role on May 1, the company said in a statement.
