Description: Flex Films’ Packaging Films Business has introduced R-PSX, a high-barrier, transparent BOPET film featuring up to 20% post-consumer recycled (PCR) content. This advanced film combines a protective printable layer over a high-barrier vacuum deposit on one side, with either a primer-coated or untreated surface on the other side. Key benefits of R-PSX include exceptional moisture and oxygen barrier properties, superior yield compared to PVDC-coated films, and the ability to replace PVDC/EVOH (PE) coated films. It is an environmentally friendly solution that offers high clarity for enhanced product visibility, along with sustainable packaging benefits.
