Description: This package comprises a heat-sealable polyethylene terephthalate (PET) lidding film with open/reclose functionality that is sealed to a PET tray. The lidding, designed for refrigerated conditions, has Sonoco’s SmartSeal® reclose functionality and is precision perforated for controlled product respiration to improve shelf life. By replacing traditional clamshells with this flexible lid, the package uses 35% less plastic.
