Grissett Takes Global Post at Sealed Air Corporation

Russell Grissett, who serves as the chair of the board of directors at the Flexible Packaging Association (FPA), joined Sealed Air Corporation last month as president of the company’s global food division.

“Russell joined the company in December 2025 and is responsible for leading the food vertical,” says the website for Sealed Air, which is in the process of becoming a privately held company. “He is a growth-focused and accomplished leader with more than 30 years of experience in the global packaging industry, specializing in flexible packaging and protective solutions.”

Grissett had been president and CEO of TOPPAN Packaging Americas, where he led the carve-out and integration of Sonoco Products Company’s flexible packaging business following a $1.8 billion acquisition. Prior to that, he was president of global thermoformed and flexibles at Sonoco and vice president of flexibles.

Sealed Air and TOPPAN are both FPA members.

“I’ll be out in the field soon, listening and learning from our teams and customers,” Grissett said in a LinkedIn post. “With CRYOVAC^® Brand Food Packaging and Liquibox as our foundation, the potential for growth and impact is tremendous—and I look forward to the future ahead.”
