Description: The packaging films business of the company introduced F­PSX high-barrier transparent biaxially oriented polyethylene terephthalate film. The film has a protective printable layer atop a high-barrier vacuum deposit on one side and is primer coated or untreated on the other side. The critical attributes of F­PSX include moisture and oxygen barrier properties and higher yield over polyvinylidene chloride (PVDC)-coated films. This PVDC/ethylene vinyl alcohol polyethylene-coated film replacement is environmentally friendly and has high clarity and product visibility. The F-PSX film can be printed and laminated with biaxially oriented polypropylene/cast polypropylene and can be easily converted into flexible packaging.
