Description: The Nut Bites laminate was designed with a 3-ply laminate consisting of high heat resistant biaxially oriented polypropylene (BOPP) for printing, high barrier metallized BOPP for providing ultra-high oxygen and moisture barrier, and a heat sealable cast polypropylene film. The design of the pouch with a 100% mono-polymer film of polypropylene makes the pouch 100% recyclable. This development replaced the existing design of foil-based laminates, which are not recyclable. This newly developed package design provides excellent barrier protection for product freshness and is easily recyclable.
