SoChatti Chocolate Pouch
Manufacturer: Glenroy, Inc.; glenroy.com
Description: SoChatti Chocolate is on a mission to introduce the world to the real flavor of chocolate, and its packaging is an integral component of achieving that goal. SoChatti comes in a uniquely shaped, spouted pouch from Glenroy that preserves the specific aromas and flavors of the cacao bean, which SoChatti sources from various regions of the world and uses in its artisanal “chocolate on tap.” Additionally, SoChatti’s packaging enables the chocolate to be shelf-stable for up to two years without any preservatives or emulsifiers. This shelf stability has enabled SoChatti to receive approval from Amazon to be fulfilled year-round (most chocolate cannot be stored/fulfilled during the heat of the summer months).
Manufacturer: Amcor Flexibles; amcor.com
Description: Amcor’s patented technology allows for a push-through opening while achieving high child resistance and senior-friendly ratings. The perforations are done on the PET so there is no risk of breaking the aluminum layer. The perforations can be registered to allow consumers to only push the product through certain areas, which minimizes the risk of children accessing the product. We achieved an F-1 Rating while maintaining high senior ratings. There is no need for perforations, which allows the possibility of smaller blister cards.

Klondike® Shakes are squeezable and ready to enjoy 3-5 minutes after being taken out of the freezer. Achieving the iconic Klondike® appearance was critical to maintaining the brand identity for the new product launch. Utilizing reverse-printed graphics and a high-performance metalized lamination, this package achieves the iconic look and provides the required performance to be executed in a pouching format. Surviving the harsh cold chain environment, this product created a new flexible package consumption occasion.

The breakthrough formula prevents grease droplets and smears from appearing on the package surface and eliminates “scratched” windows caused by fatty buildups in the jerky.
